I chose this image from 1000words.com because I am a huge fan of Pixar's animated shorts and this photoshop of Karl Malden is reminiscent a more realistic version of their animation. Unlike Pixar's animation this photo started out as a normal portrait of Karl Malden and was photoshopped to smooth out the skin and enlarge facial features to make him appear more cartoonish. The image is real enough to pass as a person, yet surreal enough to be animation.
